The first step to enroll at AUSTRALIAN CENTRES FOR DEVELOPMENT (ACD) is to take the ACD Placement Test. The results of the test help us assess your English proficiency and place you in the class that best matches your level. This ensures you study with classmates of a similar ability, creating a more effective learning environment.

How to enrol

Contact your campus
Choose Battambang, Serey Sophorn or Poipet and confirm a placement-test time.
Take the placement test
Allow 45–70 minutes. Bring one accepted identification document and the USD 5 test fee.
Choose your class and enrol
The results help the team recommend a suitable level. Confirm the class schedule and tuition before enrolling. The USD 5 placement-test fee is refunded when you enrol in an ACD English program.

The placement test takes approximately 45–70 minutes.

Placement Test Fee

USD 5

The placement test fee is USD 5. If you enroll in an ACD English program after taking the placement test, the USD 5 placement test fee will be refunded.

These requirements and fees apply at all three campuses.

Placement tests at Battambang

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:30 PM–6:00 PM. Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Placement tests at Serey Sophorn

Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–10:00 AM and 1:30 PM–6:00 PM. Saturday–Sunday: 9:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Placement tests at Poipet

Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–10:00 AM and 1:30 PM–6:00 PM. Saturday–Sunday: 9:30 AM–3:00 PM.

The placement-test schedule starts before the published 8:30 AM weekday office opening time. Please call the Poipet team to confirm your appointment before visiting.

Scholarships at ACD

ACD offers 50% scholarships to eligible students in the following groups:

Bank employees
Buddhist monks
